viaSonic – a business unit of Truma

viaSonic is a business unit of TRUMA Gerätetechnik GmbH & Co. KG. With over 450 employees TRUMA is the leading European manufacturer and OEM supplier for comfort products in mobile applications.

viaSonic started in 1997: TRUMA was asked by caravan customers to develop a display showing the level of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. An extensive development project was launched that ultimately led to the development of the viaSonic range of products.

In 2003, all activities in the area of ultrasonic measurement were combined in the newly formed viaSonic business unit. It is viaSonic´s mission to bring to market its ultrasonic technology and sensor systems in other industrial and mobile applications.
